My pictures aren't as interesting as yours in that there are no rescues involved. They are graffit shots from the underpass to Trivoli Gardens in Ljubljana.

Choose a photo rule and then break it.

the object is to produce a good photo while breakinbg the rule.

Eg: Rule of thirds: the best and most pleasing photos generally have
the vertical and horizonatal elements divided in thirds. Exceptions:
when you WANT stillness and staticness, as in a reflection, for example.

Think of a rule and then break it, making a good photo in the process.

RULE BREAKING - Straight Horizon

This top shot is accidentally wonky. I didn't like people to see that I was taking this shot of the school girls in their short skirts incase they thought I was kinky. So I took it from my hip. But I like how it turned out and prefer to keep it wonky.

I think the angle makes this shot more interesting. It also gets more into the shot than if it were straight. As if you didn't know, this is my favourite place in New York - Grand Central Station.

I Love the Beach

This is an experiment as I simply cannot upload to BP today. Just trying to see if I can upload to here.

Yippee it worked. This is part of a message Hannah left in the beach on Anna Maria Island in the Gulf of Mexico one evening. It is meant for 101 group white on white.

May 28: "COLOR:" Look for pictures where color not only adds to the picture but is necessary to the picture, a picture where without the color, it would be severely diminished or worthless.

Flowers: Forget-me-nots

These forget-me-nots were growing in my mother's garden as I was preparing to leave her house for the last time after she died.

They are in a small vase of hers on the front of Keith's car, which is reflecting the sky.

I made this into a smudge painting, too.
