Theme for June 25, 2007: Breaking the Rules!
Choose a photo rule and then break it.
the object is to produce a good photo while breakinbg the rule.
Eg: Rule of thirds: the best and most pleasing photos generally have
the vertical and horizonatal elements divided in thirds. Exceptions:
when you WANT stillness and staticness, as in a reflection, for example.

RULE BREAKING - Straight Horizon

This top shot is accidentally wonky. I didn't like people to see that I was taking this shot of the school girls in their short skirts incase they thought I was kinky. So I took it from my hip. But I like how it turned out and prefer to keep it wonky.

I think the angle makes this shot more interesting. It also gets more into the shot than if it were straight. As if you didn't know, this is my favourite place in New York - Grand Central Station.
